Kartoffelernte in Niedersachsen - Einblick in den Betriebsablauf Potato harvest in Germany 4K farmer

Kartoffeln roden in der Lüneburger Heide bei Ebstorf im Landkreis Uelzen. Gezeigt wird der Betriebsablauf eines landwirtschaftlichen Betriebes aus der Lüneburger Heide bei der Speisekartoffelernte. Im Video werden die Kartoffeln mit einem 2-reihigen Grimme Kartoffelroder geerntet und direkt auf dem Feld in genormte Kartoffelkisten schonend geladen. Für den Transport der Kartoffelkisten werden spezielle Anhänger eingesetzt. Das Abladen folgt dann direkt an der betriebseigenen, isolierten und gekühlten Kartoffelhalle mit einem Gabelstapler. Die Kartoffeln bleiben in ihren Kisten bis zur Vermarkung.

das ist doch wunderbar was mutter erde uns so zur verfügung stellt! auch wenn es sowas einfaches wie kartoffeln sind! für mich ist das imemr ein wunder dass da aus dem nichts so viel essen wächst!!! respekt an jeden landwirten der mit seinem know how und seiner arbeit dafür sorgt!

Multigenerational potato farmer here. I remember when I was a kid in Minnesota my Grandpa who was a German immigrant coming out to our farm on Sunday's in his dress clothes and walking behind our potato combine and picking up some of the potatoes the combine dropped. His way of pointing out the waste and shaming my Dad for having us work on Sunday LOL. I like the box system of transporting the potatoes. We just loaded semi trucks right in the field bulk and threw a tarp over it.

This is the right way of handling potatoes, not just leave them in a big pile. Potateos is more delicat than one might think, and black spots and scars occure when they are mistreated. This method is more time-consuming, but gives a far better product. Awesome vid, thanks, man!

It is so satisfying to harvest a potato. You don't see that everyday, I swear. I am still choosing which veggie to do for life. I see the cabbage, I see the sweet potato, I have done onion/sharlot in my youth, but nothing excited me as much as harvesting a simple potato. Due to Covid-19 I got to see large scale lettuce and stuff, it looks satisfying to get all that green on a plot. May the weather be with me!

I’m just curious how many acres do you grow of potatoes? Over here in the United States we are growing 1200 acres this year on our farm. It is interesting how you harvest if we harvested like that it would take us months to get the potatoes dug. We have a three week window to dig potatoes.
