Thanks for this video! I love your mix of pens - some from big brands, some from small bespoke makers, all beautiful. I had the same experience with the Lamy 2000! I thought it was soooo boring. Then I tried a few of them (different nibs) at various pen club meetings and ended up purchasing one with an EF nib, and I fell in love with it immediately. It's such a great writer. Also, I love the nail polish you're wearing. Given the topic I kept thinking how beautiful it would be to have a pen made from a material that looks like that polish - beautiful shade of green, shiny, with sparkles. :)

I second the excellence of the M800 in brown/black trim. Wonderful stuff. No new pens for me this year but have rediscovered the Kaweco Steel Sport with a medium nib towards the latter half of this year. I’m looking forward to using it a lot more in 2024. Happy holidays Karyna 🎉

I love how many independent makers are on the list! Many of my favourite pens are hand turned/made I also got my first Leonardos this year, though I missed out on the stilo e stile Black Friday pens, but one of the others will definitely be on my own top 10 list!

Yay I’m so happy the Pelikan m800 brown won! It’s so gorgeous when you put it close up to the camera and I’m sure it’s even more beautiful in person. It’s going to be in my collection this year! ^_^ Such a classy pen that that can look vintage or modern. It’s the perfect choice for #1! I also love how your 4 Esties looked together, such cute set of 4 colors. I was surprised with the aquapetra being higher than some of your other pens, but my god, looking at it again here, it’s so beautiful, you must enjoy staring at the gradients of blue purple and greens throughout that pen as much as I think I would if I had that very same gradient in my future furore :P ❤❤❤ thanks for sharing your a top 10 with us, Karyna!

We have somewhat overlapping taste in pens, so amongst my top purchases of the year are my Furore Aquapetra (totally influenced by you!) and my Silverburl Silver Series PM1. My other favourites have been my Pilot VP matte black, Sailor Pro Gear Winter Sky and Benu Talisman Edelweiss

How do you keep track of all your special grind nibs! I am just starting to have a few special grinds done, but afraid to swap them or take them off a pen and I won't recall what's what... 😅

Do you own any regular pens us regular plebians are used to? A Lamy Safari? A Kaweco? 😂 I kid...I kid....but never heard of most of these.The Pelikan will always be my dream pen; but there are so many beautiful colourways to choose from, I dont know which one I reeaaaally need.
