I like the album, but I don't find it to be a "Kasabian" album. It lacks the rocking element, and it's more similar to SLP. Serge has crafted the album to suit his singing. I agree with your comments, but I think your scoring was a bit too hard. I would give it a 7.8 out of 10. Italian Horror, appropriately titled, reminds me of Lady Gaga.

I think you're seriously deluded if you think Kasabians live shows are better now since Tom Meighan left the band. Generally agree with your views on the album. My favourite track is passengers. The rest of the tracks didn't do anything for me. I think serge is just not a great singer or Frontman. I think some of these tracks would have been immeasurably better if Tom was on vocals. I'd give the album a 4/10

Serge cannot sing the old Tom songs with any power. Shaky, weak voice. On the contrary, I actually like the new album a lot.
