I have 4 axolotls and I also breed them for a while and let me tell you, they eat EVERYTHING! If you house them together as younglings there is a good chance that they will snack on a friend! As adults they get their senses together and stop eating their tankmates!😂

Axolotls are definitely predators and definitely eat meat. They will swallow anything moving that can fit in their mouths: fish, snails, frogs, worms, etc.

Just looked it up and axolotls actually eat pretty much anything they can so the first drawings not too inaccurate

I love that you did these traditionally. While i enjoy everything you do, I'm not that fond of digital art. I like to see the creativity and mistakes go into the art peice and with digital any mistakes can be undone. Where as traditional you have to go with it and work them into your drawing.

This is my favorite recipe for a blood color, red and yellow to make a bloody red color, then add a little blue to make it look more DINGY. It looks a bit more. REAL. Like the blood congealed a bit.
