It's more about the conservative neighbourhood and "haw-haaye" culture rather than a self respect issues, poor people don't have many options to choose.

She consistently showed that she has haya. She didn't accepted gift she was never seen talking to other guys , she pointed out to not shout her name then even after becoming CSS officer she didn't change. These are sign of person of integrity. Toh isse nhi to kisse shadi karta??? Jaan de denge iske liye..
