In this episode we are traveling to Kasol and doing Kheerganga trek.
Kasol is one of the most beautiful village of Himachal Pradesh. Kasol is also known as mini Israel of India as you can find many Israelis people who live in the village.
Kasol is approximately 70 km away from Manali and one of the best place for nature walk and trekking. Kasol is surrounded by the beautiful Parvati valley and doing camping at the river side (Parvati river) is one of the best experience in Kasol.
Below is the 3 days itinerary of our Kasol trip:
Day 1
Reach Kasol on day 1 and do some rest in the camp at the river side.
Post this leave for the trek of Chalal village which is a 2km trek and enjoy the view from Parvati river. Later in the evening visit Kasol market from where you can purchase the item made up of hem and also eat some of the Israeli street food. You can definitely try some momos here and if you are a nightlife lover, you can definitely try some cafes here.
Day 2
On day 2 reach barsaini, which is the starting point of Kheerganga trek and 12km from the barsaini. You can enjoy this adventurous trek and reach Kheerganga.
You can take a bath in the hot spring at Kheerganga and enjoy some bonfire in the evening
Day 3
On day 3 you can start your return journey from Kheerganga and reach barsaini via nakhtan village.
From barsaini take the local bus and taxi for Bhuntar and take a halt at manikaran.
At Manikaran you can take the bathe in holy hot spring water and visit shiv Mandir, Ram mandir and Gurudwara Saheb. If you have time visit the manikaran local market and try some street food.
Take the return bus or flight for Delhi or your location.
