IKRRRR They are soooo stupid for canceling the show... they literally built up a storyline for a second season at the finale of season 1, and now there wont even be a season 2

Avi Singing exactly and they didn’t even give the show a chance ok maybe cancel it after a half year at least if there is not many views because the production isn’t worth it but they cancelled it after just one month. This show was super hard to film because of the skating and ofc the roles the characters had to take on especially kaya and her mum in the show both needed to portray people who suffered from bipolar disorder and they did amazing job of getting the message across. Not to mention less views was Netflix’s own fault because they never promoted the show I did not ever see it in the show recommendations or anywhere on my home page until just last week and that’s only because I had watch most Netflix originals that spinning out popped out otherwise I would never know this show existed. This show is so much better then their other generic and cliche shows like riverdale and to all the boys I’ve loved, I won’t understand how they can afford to drag those shows on for ages but can’t produce a second season of a show setup to have one. Not just that but spinning out itself targets so many real life issues that would’ve really meant something with an addition of the second season to really get the messages of these issues across eg mental health, bipolar disorder, racism, dysfunctional families and minors being taken advantage of, the show has everything that basic Netflix shows are too afraid to even touch on but the cast did a great job in acting yet all their hardwork is gone to nothing because this show is pretty much nothing without the second season since most things were left on a cliffhanger.

@Lolita Del Rey I think because she's a figure skater the closest alternative is pairs. I don't think wanted to be an ice dancer. Hence the effort she out in to get over the fear and block of getting her jumps back. She wasn't going to a figure skates so pairs was her next alternative.

If I had enough money I would just pay them myself to do a second season of this awesome show. I don't understand people cannot see this brilliance and watch that nonsense. But this was so unique and special and authentic. I laughed, I cried, cried out of bliss. The intro song is already haunting. This is one of the best serials I have ever watched. Unfortunately only 10 episodes..

Fun fact: Emma Roberts originally was cast as the main character but she left to film another season of American Horror Story so Kaya came in last minute and had to learn to skate (obviously not like this) in just a couple of weeks

I thought that too for the first couple episodes but at the story progressed I found the casting quite good because Kat had to go through a lot and sometimes she played mother to Serena instead of Carol so it’s just right for her to look older. And Carol is a young girl deep down like in that scene when she scrubs the floor because “it has to be clean for when the girls come home” - in that scene you just wanna give her a hug and wrap her in a blanket

@@juliag6126 It was a joke. Not meant to be mean but if you look at the routines, listen to music, compare the outfits. The girl looks almost exactly like Tessa. They're very similar. I ask you to watch this and then watch their routine from the 2018 Olympics. Saying her dress looks like Tessa's shows you see at least some similarity. And yes, this show didn't copy the ENTIRE routine, but if there was a light-hearted love ballad portion of this routine, it'd be pretty obvious. Just bc they're pairs and not ice dancers doesn't mean inspiration didn't come from the routine. Netflix isn't brave enough to commit complete plagiarism.

Netflix you can't give up on this series. The subject is very serious and very important. Evan and Kaya (Kat and Justin) are breathtaking, as well as all the other actors. What a bad decision on your part. 😔

We want a season 2! We finally got to see a short portray such a misunderstood disorder as bipolar, in a respectful way. This shows talks about mental illness, racial problems, family, etc. You lost another subscription..I know I am not alone here, I've seen so many comments on other platforms about people cancelling their subscription. The fact that Netflix decided to cancel such an important and relevant show but kept Riverdale speaks volumes.
