I met kat von d in person in dublin she gave us free lipsticks, eyeliner, bags, bottled water, cookies and vegan food as we lined up to meet her. Then it rained and she gave us umbrellas. When I went to meet her I was a nervous wreck shaking having a full on panic attack as I was by myself and I'm quite socially awkward. She hugged me and told me I was beautiful. But my camera messed up and the photo did not take. So I asked a member of staff could I go back they told me no and tried to rush me out the door only Kat herself told me to come back and we took a ton more photos as the staff looked annoyed. I'll always remember that day and how kind she was to me.

I think you deserved to be there. You're one of the most positive people out there and that's amazing all on its own.

About a year ago, I wasn’t very far off from suicide, but every time I would get into a self-harming state, I would get myself out of it by watching your videos. When we have nowhere else to go, when people are jerks to us about our lifestyle choices or even traits that aren’t choices, we find that your videos take us out of the bad dark and help us into the good dark. Not only are you super skilled at makeup and fashion, and your aesthetics are so pleasing, you’re a hero to us, and many other people, I’m sure.
