I have. I typically don't watch sequels because they taint the originals and I think thats why I put it off. But my Bill Paxton kick brought me to it and I actually love it more than the original which almost never happens.

Oh yeah, this is my favorite movie from the Alien series. It's worth watching the first one too if you haven't seen it, but this one reminds me about the playing the game 15 years ago. It's a first person shooter, you play in dark environments mostly with a crappy flashlight and there are xenomorphs attacking you when you think you're safe. Very intense... similar to The Thing sequel, which was also a game. Thanks for bringing back the memories! I wish I could've listened to this song when playing the game. Btw, great idea for finding movies by favorite actors and genre. I started like this... ended up watching stuff I always avoided e.g. the classics from 30's, 40's and 50's of all genre, plus the best foreign(Japanese, French). I don't regret going on that path. That's why I recommended the best Jean Reno movies to you in the community post. Also adding Nikita(1990) to that list... oh the music is so addictive. I stop here so you can catch up :)

I took it down yes. It was a song made my an ex's friend and I didn't really enjoy it too much. Was thinking if doing another song with the video instead

@@digitalgravityy ah i see. the video was dope just for the Total Recall visuals, but i totally understand, the song itself was cool but you know, repetitive house music, not quite your typical upload... and yes please, revisit Total Recall! That and Blade Runner are my true analytical obsessions, re: memory and identity, is how we evaluate our own humanity based on our memories?. And I've been watching the forgotten, 1-season, 1999 tv show Blade Runner/ Total Recall prequel called Total Recall 2070 but that's me diving off the deep end. Also, re: Total Recall - the flash at the end of the movie hints that the entire plot was part of his spy-narrative upgrade Rekall vacation implant.

Ellen Ripley is my favorite action hero of all time, of any movie, period. Praise Sigourney Weaver for all time for being THE FIRST FEMALE ACTION STAR. She WON that role over males who also auditioned, as Ripley was written genderless. Absolute determination, resolve, wit, and humanity. Badass AND Smart. She outtalents even the "elite" marines. shout out to Michael Behan, between this and Terminator 2, he's a Legend of quintessential cyber marine.

Good choice 👍 yeah, women in earlier decades of cinema had other roles than showing courage under fire. Their simple presence would command respect. I'm glad your favorite action hero made it here 🥂

@@CSM100MK2 the women in Tombstone(1993) are meaningless. If it wasn't for Val and his inspirational acting I'd hate that film. Look at the women acting in My Darling Clementine(1946), where Doc has a more profound character and the women are EVERYTHING.
