Bill Conti's beautiful music was composed and already used for the first Karate Kid under a different title, but I really like how it connects here on Karate Kid III, with the whole waking up, training and facing your fears concept. KK3 has its weaknesses, but the relationship between Daniel and Mr. Miyagi is still very strong and quite memorable.

This scene is absolutely amazing. The healing of the tree symbolizes the healing of Daniels mind and the relationship between him and myagi. Makes me tear up

“Now will you train me?” As a kid it was like the moment would never come, then finally it happened, the whole scene Mike Barnes training to kill, Daniel gracefully doing Kata with Mr Miyagi and finally achieving that balance with Mr Miyagi he was seeking the whole time. One of my favorite movies ever

One of the first movies I remember my Dad taking me too, when I was 6 or 7. Not my favorite of the 3, but for that reason this movie is, and will always be, sacred to me. I watch it anytime its on, and think about my Dad who has since passed.

Favorite scene. The sound track is amazing, the contrast between one training and the other, the symbology of the bonzai being healed and Daniel finding the inner focus. Just perfect.

I think in season 3 Daniel and Johnny's relationship will develop as both want Miguel to heal. This will bring balance by creating a new style; Miyagi Kai

It is sad Pat Morita is gone, but Mr Miyagi's absence is part of what makes Cobrs Kai so good . It's similar to how Adrian being dead actually made Rocky Balboa such a powerful movie.

Beautiful how the bonsai tree is shown fully healed. It is healed because as Mr Miyagi says it has "strong roots", and in the same way Daniel San is able to bounce back from adversity because he too has strong roots, planted by Mr Miyagi and his wisdom.

As much as the film was disliked by many, especially by the director himself, this was an absolutely wonderful montage and continuation of the theme by the amazing Bill Conti. Probably my favourite moment in the film and I still really enjoy this film to this day. Still a lot to enjoy despite the story not being as strong as the previous films.

Two was awesome too. and a pretty amazing job for Conti to make such a different score in the same franchise. I don’t get why so many of his scores never got released or barely had any copies produced. Scores like Rookie of the Year are really underrated.

I agree, I like this one way more than # 2. I think this beach training scene with this music is inspirational, the ocean splashed up at just the right time to the music. This scene is what prompted me to buy this movie & I wasn't at all disappointed with it, love this scene and love this movie, it's one of my favorites!!

Paulo Antigua I’m very confident terry silver is going to come back in a cameo to buy some additional cobra Kai dojos for Kreese, and season 3 will end with Mike Barnes, Snake, and Dennis from KK3 returning as the newly hired senseis for those additional dojos. Each of them embodies the cobra Kai ideals so it makes perfect sense. And I believe Daniel will unite with Johnny and reach out to Chozen as well as Julie Pierce to fight them and defend Mr. Miyagi’s legacy so it’s an even 4-4 fight.

I would have to disagree. There were some good elements (Terry Silver for one). But the story just didn't make much sense. Why is Daniel so afraid of Barnes so shortly after fighting Chozen for his life? Why did the All Valley Tourney allow the Champion to only fight once while all challengers had to fight at least 3 times? Finally, What the hell Daniel?!?! I understand training is important in martial arts. But it seems like he left his training in a tea cup back in Okinawa.

Green Reaper 1. Just because you’ve faced death before doesnt make you immune to fear? Throughout the movie they were ruthless to Daniel. 2. It seems like the All-Valley were trying out this new format, which clearly didn’t work out. People try new things all the time 3. Ill agree with you that Daniel should’ve held his own a bit more EARLY in the movie. However, i understand that by the end, the mental terrorism had already gotten to him. Which is why when he focused back in with the Kata he finally bested Mike.

I feel as if this movie is very underrated. While the Karate Kid Part II is a good movie, I feel like this movie is the TRUE sequel to Karate Kid.

They aren't slowly moving their hands into odd positions dumbass! They are moving with important karate kata technic, you don't have to train fast to be effective in a fight, this is a "soft" style as opposed to a "hard" style, soft style is just as effective.

Yes, this scene shows the polar opposite characters. Daniel and Mr. Miyagi=Peace, mind, and body. Mike Barnes, Terry, and Kreese= Hardwork and toughness.

I love how this scene shows the difference between unarmed combat training (MMA, Krav Maga) and martial arts (Karate, Kung Fu). I also love how the first moves of the peaceful looking kata they're practicing are basically "Step out the way of his shoot take down and push his head into the ground, pick him up and smash his face into the ground again" 😅

I watch the original ones growing up as a kid and was in elementary school and learning English I got to hear them on to see and save page😂 but one thing a lot of people forget about mr. Miyagi he was a jack-of-all-trades and a master of a lot of things not only did mr. Miyagi serving WWII when Daniel first broke his bike after he fought Lawrence that bike was a goner for sure he fixed it miyagi learned through loss and era how to repair and fix. A lot of folks don't know that the original script called for the story to be about miyake growing up like in ip man.

I don’t think this movie was as good as the first and second one but it does have some good qualities. Personnally I love Terry Silver and his double sided character, Miyagi is always awesome of course, and this part of the movie with the healing of Daniel’s mind and the healing of the tree is very well presented ^^ I also love the last fight, with Miyagi’s wise words.

Waves have always amazed me just watching them come rolling in over and over, that day of filming the water was exceptionally nice as it was quite sparkly. I just wondered what kept the seagulls off of them! lol
