In this fight Luffy received hundreds of attacks from people who were much stronger than him, Katakuri won from all aspects... speed, strength, intelligence, experience, technique. Luffy still wakes up after receiving all of Katakuri's attacks, even after Gear 4 runs out he can avoid Katakuri's attacks, especially now that he's hungry... Katakuri's speed exceeds that of him when he was at his prime(WCI ARC). when fighting Doffy, Luffy couldn't move after using gear 4... but in this fight... so much plot armor in this fight. I LIKE Luffy vs Lucci fight more because of this.. my IMO😁🙏

@@Lala26845 there's a constant thing people miss with Luffy's gears and that's the fact that Luffy gets better at using a form the more he uses it, happens with Gear 2 and 3 when you compare enies lobby to Thriller Bark/Sabaody and same with gear 4. Also Luffy could still move but was out of haki so he was being carried to conserve his strength, he even moved right after going into gear 4 against Cracker. People think it's plot armor but they just aren't paying attention or forget things.

But if he had awakening here then yeah, katakuri's offense relies on react-counters for grappling and pinning opponents, impossible to do that when everything is bouncy
