Very nice work! I think you are the best working outside Japan. You should host classes where students could learn enough to forge they're own tanto or wakazashi. I think it could be very popular.

If anyone wants it, they can write to me. I am willing to work with people, but only individually. And I do, sometimes. Working with a group will not allow you to convey information well.

How about showing the whole finished product in the end?

Some videos have a finished sword at the end. However, finishing, polishing and koshirae, takes at least 6 months, normally 1 year. It depends on the order between jobs. Sometimes there will be a video with completed swords.

Question, what is the purpose of quenching before shaping sonobe?

This is not hardening. It's just cooling the rod end. The temperature is not very high. About 200°C. I cool it down so I can hold it in my hand and continue working. No thing more. No secret technique. :-)
