I can say, just getting back into the game again, I was using the Shiny Legends ETB sleeves because they look amazing, but recently switching to a better sleeve (I use the Eclipse sleeves) its night and day!

So I’ve actually done testing with all the S&M sleeves. Shining Legends is the only set that actually splits when shuffling. They’re all bad at mash shuffling, but if you mash shuffle SL sleeves, they split.

I got myself a set of Katanas recently, and they are hands-down better than any sleeves I've used from UltraPro. My only issues have been the initial slipperiness of the sleeves, and that the corner nearest to my right thumb has been scratching me a tiny bit while mash shuffling, however they have held up very well and feel infinitely better to shuffle than my Eclipses have.

Just got a box of blue colored sleeves. Really liking them. They remind me of the newer style KMC sleeves but a bit thicker.

I didn’t realize these were new new. I guess it’s more common in my neck of the woods. Great review btw. Personally they’re great sleeves but very slippery at first haha. Get cards slippin and sliddin out of the hands.

My ultra pro matte’s are my favorite. Eclipse not so much. They felt great out of the pack but after 3 games they didn’t shuffle as nice and just keep getting worse. I’m gonna try the katana sleeves this week. I’ve got a little shop nearby that has them in stock

UP matte is awesome, but UP Eclipses are sooo sticky after a few games, like you said.

7:00 good thing you mash shuffle after riffling, because the top card in your left hand never changed when only mash shuffling. And that’s been what I’ve found to be the case for literally almost everyone who exclusively mash shuffles. Not that I think you would cheat or anything :p It’s just sketchy to people who don’t know you like your audience does, for if they saw you on stream. Would hate for my man to be DQ’d :P I might actually go pick some of these up today. Have a good day, errone!

That's why I always make an effort to move the top and bottom of my deck into the middle a couple of times. Mash top into the bottom, bottom into the top (a few times over the course of a shuffle). At least one time upper third into the middle, lower third into the middle, middle third into the combined upper and lower thirds. Sometimes I'll grab a small amount of cards randomly from the deck and throw them on top of the deck too. I try to mix up how I shuffle and cut. But riffles a) are painful to watch, and b) I apparently lack the dexterity to do them anyway.

The problem with eclipsis is that they clump up really easily. That's why for a tournament or for long term use Dragon Shield or possibly these katana's are best. 👍

UP mattes are my favorite. UP Eclipses, though by the same company, are only good for protecting your cards. They’re so sticky after a few games.

@@derbackalacker2824 its just back in the days, when i was like 8 or 9, i only collected the cards. i didnt play pokemon. allways wondered what the hp etc is for:D today i know ofc, but i still never played the game.
