Titanic(1997) remains the best movie of all time FOR ME. I’ve seen it so many times but it still invoke the same emotions out of me every single time like the first time. One of the reason I love it so much is because of them (Kate & Leo), they portrayed Rose and Jack so well. I’m glad that they remain really good friends.

I bet many years from now they’ll admit they at least kissed/ dated or screwed. We all thought Mark Hamil and Carrie Fisher had a brother-sister/best friend relationship but they actually made out with each other off-screen and it fizzled out later when she got into a relationship with Harrison Ford. I happen to think that men and women cant be just friends. Someone is always going to catch feelings. Its happened to me four times already. Even when someone catches feelings they are willing to be just the deep friend as long as they get to be close to that person and they dont really settle with anyone else. Thats why, allegedly, Leo hasnt married and Kate has or Chris Evans is best friends with ScarJo and doesnt really date that much. And i wonder if Leo was lowkey trying to claim her way back during the titanic premiere and they were asked if they were a couple and he said “we’re together.”

Maybe it's just me but I honestly think it's so poetic that they never got together. Imagine a love that is so genuine, and once in a lifetime that subjecting it to a romantic relationship does not even do it justice. It is so pure that it transcends our own imposed meanings and expectations of love, partnerships, and relationships altogether. You can have a love of your life (like they are to each other), without ever being romantically involved. And I think that is absolutely beautiful.

Revolutionary Road was their best work. It was an incredible film that showcased their acting skills in a totally different light. Even though their relationship was so very dark and troubled they still had amazing chemistry. And kudos to them for bringing in Kathy Bates into this film. I loved her connection to Leo in Titanic. Also anxiously waiting for their next film

Maybe the reason that Leo is such a player moving from one girlfriend to another and not committing or opening his heart to anyone is because his soulmate is Kate and they are like star crossed lovers in real life. Maybe their fears and ego is getting in the way of truly expressing their love in a natural way and they’re expected to put in a big show. They really just are better off being two regular people spending time together and enjoying each others’ company rather than these grandiose declarations of love

@@xpatriciadanielle I'm sure that's true sometimes. But I can say for sure when me and my boyfriend were living apart I could miss him. I enjoyed seeing him and spending time with him. But when we moved in together, I had to deal with all of his habits and he had to deal with mine. I didn't enjoy being around him as much anymore lol.

There is nothing for his wife or my husband to be worried about and they both know that
