I'd love to see all the Queens jewellery pulled out, checked, fixed and worn by all the Working Royals, it's time!! It's time for some birthday celebrations and happiness. I'd love it if they did a Princesses picnic and they did a big sausage sizzle in the park or something to celebrate her birthday 🎂 🥳 she's earned a celebration after all her hard work, fighting off the press, chin up from evil in-law 😈

I have to say that I am so glad Meghan left or was kicked out, whichever, when she did, can you imagine if they had to be dealing with her in the family and fighting over tiaras now? That would've been so hard for Catherine. It's tough dealing with all they are now for sure, but the world hates them now and it will be over soon. But if they were still in the family and they all still had to be covering up things and dealing with her in private, putting on a smile and having to engage with her.... I think that would've been far far worse honestly!!! This, though painful, was better.

It was the fashion in the 1920’s to wear tiaras and headbands low on the forehead. Positioning them the way we do now would have looked weird to them during that time.

My aunt wore a seed pearl band across her forehead with her veil when she married in the mid 1920's. I am not a fan of wearing tiaras across the forehead myself. They look terribly uncomfortable. I always got the feeling if you smiled too much, the tiara would slip over your eyes.

They are!! Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands would get headaches so she would never wear the heaviest Dutch pieces as she found it too difficult. Her daughter-in-law Queen Maxima has no such problems! So it all depends on the person. ☺️ I hope that helps!!

I think they still have to be 'of the royal family' but I think the Queen lent Camillas daughter a tiara for her wedding didn't she??? And I'd guess Camilla would let her daughter wear some, but I heard the Queen changed her will, as many items have been given to distant family and been lost to the royal family over the years, so they go on 'permanent loan' and it goes back to the Monarch when they die, not on to other family....which is a good idea, imagine MMs sticky little fingers in the royal vault!!!😮😮

Yes the Queen has to give permission, but likely which tiaras she'd wear was decided all at once when they married, not on a case by case basis. We do know that Camilla was given about four tiaras to choose from to wear. I forget all the names. The beehive I think the one is called, but they are ones that suited her head shape and hair. It seems as though Catherine was given these four.... (That would be a great video for you to research and do Brittany!).... I think some of that may have changed a bit when the Queen died, but honestly I don't think so. I think it has a protocol. Not necessarily which tiara but that each princess would have a few to rotate with that were chosen to suit them. They pretty much stick to the few assigned to them unlike the other royal families that rotate and share more it seems. But only the princesses in the line of succession. The other working royals seem to only have one unless they buy another themselves or have one from their own family, like the Spencer tiara. An only wears like two or three that only she wears, Sophie only had the one I think then I think the aqua marine, Camilla always had her three......etc...... of course the reigning Queen can wear whatever she wants. So that has changed now that the Queen has passed obviously.... I wonder which ones Charlotte and some day Georges wife will wear 🤔
