I’m from Poland and I think Poland 2006 was awful. I didn’t like Kate Ryan’s performance back then neither, now after all these years I kinda like it, but it could have been much better.

They changed the act after she won the Belgian preselection, so it looked way overchoreographed on the ESC stage. They should have sent her with the original act. It would have been better.

I think that countries such as France and Belgium sometimes send songs in french language , and that europeans don't like that because it comes over as something arrogant.

This was my first time at Eurovision. It's now more than 12 years later and I still don't understand how this didn't make the final. Everyone I spoke to said they felt sorry for Kate. Great performance, strange result.

This is easily one of the best eurovision songs that have been recorded. However, this performance did not do it justice, I'm sure it would have improved had it qualified. But I still love this song now.

It's a very cool song. I like it. She only needed to get 8 points to qualify. It's so close .So sad. It received points from all Scandinavian countries except Norway. Norway could have given her 8 points, damn it.

+GrooveVibes this song would've qualified in 2006 with the juries bringing down the migrant votes for Turkey and Armenia, which substantially advanced to the finals thanks to the 10 and 12 points from countries full of Armenian and Turkish migrants.

This Eurovision was the start of bloc voting at its worst, with the 2007 semi final and the 2008 final even worse. Thankfully the EBU split the semis into two for 2008 and began to reinstate juries after that to help halt the madness. Je T'adore should have been in the final. It's in my Top 10 of Semi Final Losers ever!

That ain't an opinion, it's having crusty ass ears. Kate Ryan was spectacular and the performance was amazingly staged. It's a shame the migrants put Turkey and Armenia above it.

I honestly think her vocal performance could have been much better, she seems more occupied with the choreography and the attributes on scenes.. Too bad. I was disappointed as I loved the recorded version !

Great teamwork between her and the backing singers. She is the star, but the backing singers often help her out with the high notes. Despite having different voices, they blend so well you almost don't notice.
