Kate Stewart has one of Doctor Who’s most drastic character arcs. As the head of The Unified Intelligence Taskforce, otherwise known as UNIT, she’s one badass, capable leader that you’d never want to mess with. Over the years, she’s fought off foes and put herself in the firing line in some of the most dangerous alien incursions to have ever reached our planet. Through it all, she puts the safety of humanity first and herself second…but her life very nearly didn’t turn out this adventurous.
