As a fluent English speaker, the first advanced question provides two correct answers. You can say 'managed to' and 'was able to' and both would be perfectly fine depending on the context.

This is the Question that i asked two weeks ago, but still waiting for the reply. One of my other doubts is this Q- The directions my friend gave us were (coordinated), so we werre able to find his house easily. This too is correct, makes complete sense.

I am an Indian and a 9th grader. My English teacher gives us really hard questions where we often get confused between two options; since, in MCQ's, more than one answers might sound correct but we have to pick the most appropriate one. Even in this quiz, I got confused in many options since more than one options sounded right, but remember that we have to go for the most appropriate ones! Got10/10 in beginner's level 10/10 in intermediate 10/10 in advanced

Fun fact is I've made mistakes in every tests XD A : 9/10 B : 8/10 C : 9/10 And I had the very last question right just because I knew the two other words weren't the answer. So... without luck, it could have been 8/10 on this level too. The nicest part though is I've learned a few things, so thank you!
