@@marcelovieira519 yeah, i have been abstaining myself from abusing AD onhit items like divine sunderer and kraken slayer, or tank items like sunfire, ice gauntlet and titanic hydra, simply because it defeats the whole point of her gameplay as a high risk, high reward AP assassin. I just wanna use her the way she's intended: an AP assassin with nashor as her core item. hopefully riot does something so that plays stop abusing the AD/tank builds that are extremely unhealthy for the game.

It depends on your playstyle, because the mechanics behind every builds are different, just build whatever you feel comfortable with since ap and ad builds are both effective in this meta

There are only 3 build rn. Ap build if you want to 1 shot enemy, tank build if you want to 1 shot enemy but you tankier and on hit build if you want to 1 shot enemy an their tanks too

In my opinion there is no optimal build for kat, her builds are totally match-up dependent. So, vs squishies and close to no cc u go on hit/ap and your dmg comes mostly from ult and autos( on hit) or your dmg comes mostly from daggers (Ap) Vs lots of cc you can dodge or play sunderer into full ap. Sunderer gives you sustain and makes you tankier so u have a chance doing something.(take ingenious hunter in runes for more sunderer procs) Vs 2+ tanks you go Hybrid or full ap, it's your choice depending on matchup. Example builds: Vs squishies and close to no cc: Botrk, berseker's greaves, kraken, rageblade, bloodthirster, guardian angel Vs lots of cc: Sunderer, plated steelcaps/mercury's threads, nashor's tooth, zhonya's, void staff, rabadon's deathcap. Vs 2+ tanks: Botrk, plated steelcaps/mercury's threads, Sunderer, zhonya's/shadowflame, void staff, rabadon (with cut down in runes.)

Depends on the game and who your playing with/against. For me, I’d say that there’s 3 main builds. First one would be something like Sunderer, And some on hit items like wits, botrk, kraken, hydra if ur against champs with high hp and cc, u could even replace some of the on hit items with tank items if u feel too squishy. Second one would be the glass canon build where u go something like kraken, rageblade, nashors. I would build this against squishies with no cc, but tbh I rarely build this since it makes u very squishy. Last one would just be the classic ap build with nashors, rocket belt, zhonyas, deathcap, etc. I’ve done a bunch of testing and the second build does the most total dmg by far, the ap build being the one with the highest burst and the sunderer one with the most sustain. Personally, I never build ap unless my team really need magic dmg cuz it relies too much on hitting ur daggers since that’s where most of the dmg comes from, but that’s also why it bursts the hardest since u can hit multiple daggers at the same time. This is why I prefer building ad, although the daggers do a lot less dmg, R and aa hit really hard and they’re a lot easier to hit than daggers. However, the ad play style is a lot more different than the ap one and it’s more about getting a lot of e and aa resets to do dmg. Hope this helps 😅

@silentririnneur5315 on hit is what makes kat balanced though. If they remove on hit they would need to buff her base ability dmg so she would actually be stronger

If you're good enough you can build whatever you want and it doesn't matter the problem is when the DMG is so split down the middle it feels just bad building armor or even MR and if they build armor you just go more magic DMG and vice versa so it's just impossible to counter

Yeah, specially Bruiser Kat. Riot should just get rid of her On-Hits and buff her ratios, this would be enough for her to go back to AP and would get rid of that On-Hit build that splits so much damage I can't even understand what the fuck is damaging me
