Jesus Transformed And Transformer I am going to call your attention as it is found in the 3rd chapter of the book of the Acts of the apostles, please read verse’s 1-6. Now Peter and John went up together into the Temple at the hour of prayer being the ninth hour then over to verse 12, 13, and 14 of the third chapter of the Acts of the apostles, from this passage, I will take the opportunity to say unto you this day about Jesus Transformed and Transformer. In the days of Jesus flesh he was a man who really had no dire needs, he didn’t have to have fear taken away as a Son of God because he had none, he was never demon possess so he didn’t have to have devils cast out and you never read where Jesus ever had to be healed because he was never sick and of course he was a man without sin. Mary wanted to know how he was going to be conceived, the angels told her that “Holy Thing” shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Jesus never had problems with demons he stood tall on their heads at every turn he never had to have a demon cast out of him storms and winds were never a problem to him, if he came in contact with a violent wind he’ll just say shut up! and the winds would cease. Jesus didn’t have to deal in the life of his flesh with things that were hard on it because he was the master of everything I’d like you to notice when the issue came up as to how the lame man was healed Peter first said to the man who was lame from his mother womb, in the name of Jesus of Nazareth, Jesus had been gone from Nazareth for days so when he referred to him as Jesus of Nazareth he wasn’t talking about the Jesus who was in Nazareth he was talking about the Jesus who had been in Nazareth but when he came to explain to the Jewish people how this miracle had happen he said God has glorified his Son Jesus. God change the Son position, demons couldn’t change him, storms couldn’t make a difference in his life, satan couldn’t make his life rough without it willed, not even death could make him obey it, storms couldn’t kill him, men couldn’t break his neck by throwing him down the hill, fasting couldn’t kill him, nothing could take his life, “St. John 10:18”, but when nothing on earth could bring about a transition in his life, God the Father, made the difference. Read Isaiah 53:10 KJV Jesus didn’t really have to have folks to support him, you never read where Jesus preached and taught and folks stood on their feet and said amen and hallelujah, it was not human support that made Jesus who he was he was self sufficient so powerful on his own until nothing on earth could put him in a place where he needed to have a transition, but the Father did it when He sent him to the Garden of Gethsemane and to the Cross of Calvary for the human family, that’s when he needed a dramatic assistance from Almighty God he needed a transformation because God had committed him to what the winds couldn’t committ him to, satan couldn’t commit him to it, his enemies couldn’t committ him to it, and there was the Cross of Calvary. God, put him to grief, took him down to the lowest hell, and made him taste death for every man, his suffering had no comparison in history, no man had ever cried tears like he cried in Gethsemane, there never been such a broken heart, never a load so heavy to bear in the history of the world. The judgment of God had never been so vehement against a man or group of men as it was when Jesus went to Gethsemane and on to Calvary he needed a transformation and no one could give it to him but the Heavenly Father. You stop and think, that Jesus died on the cross for every man, hold it, he wasn’t playing games on Calvary, do you not realize that hell was being faced by every one of us? Hell, the lake that burn with fire and brimstone’s, what did God do? He sent Jesus to hell for every one of us! Wait folks, so you don’t think you’re going to hell? Do you know why you’re not going? Somebody had to go for our sins, oh yes, oh yes, the soul that sins, it shall die, somebody had to go, you know we may not think as serious as we do about what Jesus was up against at Calvary, that was no side show! It was REAL! Let’s go to Gethsemane when Jesus prayed, the Bible says he was in an agony, that means, it was unique, there had never been an agony like that, in an agony and there was a darkness over the earth, a unique darkness, God shut him out from light, when God shut Jesus out from light, He put Jesus in a kind of a place, where Jesus had delivered other people from, and that was blindness. God shut out the light of the Sun, shut out the light of the moon, Jesus couldn’t see anything like the blind he healed. Now Calvary, he is in darkness, he’s in hell, he’s in outer darkness, what does he needs? A transformation, God has forsaken him, he cries, make no mistake folks, that’s not just a fairytale some loose knit story, he was forsaken by God and he felt it. My God my God, why has thou forsaken me? Reason, we was all in his bosom, and when God turned His back on him, He was turning His back on us in him, there he was, hanging on Calvary, suffering, bleeding, dying, experiencing the second death for all of us. Consentrated hell, consentrated hell, consentrated hell, that’s were Jesus was on Calvary. Jesus was in outer darkness for your sake and mine, I think sometimes we don’t take the death of Jesus, serious enough. Take him down from the Cross, buried on the third day, He arose again, rose, yes our Savior rose from the dead, He rose triumphant as he said, snatched the victory from the grave rose again my soul to save, Oh glory hallelujah to the Lamb. Got up from the grave and said: all power in heaven and earth, I have it. What has happened? The Jesus that use to be in Nazareth, the Jesus that use to work in his dad’s carpentry shop, the God that talked in the Synagogue at Nazareth, in the name of that Christ, get up and walk man. Read Acts 20:28 KJV But he’s not in Nazareth now, his Father has glorified him, he’s no longer a natural man like he was in Nazareth, he’s risen from the dead, glorified, ascended on high, sitting on the throne of God in heaven, that’s the man in who’s name that man was made whole. Up from the grave he arose, with a mighty triumph over his foes, snatched the victory from the dark domain, and “He” lives forever with the saints to reign, hallelujah, he arose, hallelujah, he arose. Jesus who had gone to the lowest hell, is now transformed and seated in glory. It’s interested to me, that when Jesus arose from the dead and ascended on high, led captivity captive, “God the Father in Christ”, seated him on “His own throne”, (watch this now), and the reason that the man that went through the awfulness on Calvary is seated on the Throne is because God has nothing higher to give him. He couldn’t reward him with land, He couldn’t reward him with silver, He couldn’t reward him with gold, “Psalm 50:10-12” the only thing He had to give him, was His Own Throne. Philippians 2:9-11 KJV 9. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10. That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11. And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Jesus the transformed, is now the transformer, He will pick you up, and turn you around, He will set your feet on higher ground. We are waiting the day when this grand transformer is going to transform us, and we shall be changed, we shall be transformed by Him who are transformed. Did you not know, we’ll going to be caught up? Did you not know, that the dead in Christ shall rise first? We are going to be transformed.
