কাঠমান্ডু থেকে পোখারা প্রায় ২০০ কিলোমিটার দূরে অবস্থিত৷ পাহাড়ি আঁকাবাঁকা রাস্তা ধরে যেতে বেশ ভালোই লাগছিল। কিছুদূর যেতেই পাহাড় আর রাস্তার পাশ দিয়ে বইতে থাকে নেপালের বিখ্যাত ত্রিশূলী নদী৷ নীল সবুজাভ পানির এই নদীর সুন্দর সব দৃশ্য দেখতে দেখতে যাচ্ছিলাম আমরা।
কাঠমান্ডু থেকে প্রায় তিন ঘন্টা দূরে অবস্থিত নেপাল এবং পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে উঁচু ক্যাবল কারগুলোর একটি হচ্ছে মনকামনা ক্যাবল কার। এই বিখ্যাত মনকামনা ক্যাবল কারে করে যাওয়া যায় ভারতীয় উপমহাদেশের অন্যতম বিখ্যাত মন্দির, মনকামনা মন্দিরে।
ক্যাবল কার এর বেস স্টেশন থেকে প্রায় ৯ হাজার ফুট দূরত্বে অবস্থিত উপরের স্টেশন৷ এই প্রায় তিন কিলোমিটার এর মতো রাস্তা এই ক্যাবল কারে করে যাওয়ার ব্যাপারটা সবচেয়ে রোমাঞ্চকর ছিলো। চারপাশে বিশাল উঁচু উঁচু পাহাড় আর মেঘের দৃশ্যগুলো অনেক সুন্দর লাগছিলো। এর আগে কখনও ক্যাবল কারে করে এত উচুতে উঠা হয় নি৷ তাই উপর থেকে মনে হচ্ছিলো কোন হেলিকপ্টারে আছি আমরা।
মনকামনা ক্যাবল কারে করে মনকামনা মন্দিরে ঘুরে এসে আমরা চলে আসি পোখারা। পোখারা লেকসাইডে অনেক সুন্দর একটি হোটেলে উঠি আমরা। সেখান থেকে পরদিন সকালে যাই বিখ্যাত সারাংকোট সানরাইজ ভিউ পয়েন্টে।

Manakamana Cable Car is one of the highest cable cars in Nepal and the world, about three hours from Kathmandu. This famous Manakamana cable car takes you to Mankamana Temple, one of the most famous temples in the Indian subcontinent.
The upper station is about 9 thousand feet from the base station of the cable car It was the most exciting thing to travel this almost three-kilometre road in this cable car. The scenery around the huge mountains and clouds looked very beautiful. Never before has a cable car climbed so high So from above it seemed like we are in a helicopter.
After visiting Manakamana Temple by Manakamana cable car, we came to Pokhara. We stayed at a very nice hotel at Pokhara Lakeside. From there next morning go to the famous Sarangkot sunrise viewpoint.
The Manakamana Devi temple, situated in the Gorkha district of Nepal, is regarded as a wish-fulfilling temple and worshipped by most of the Hindu population around the world. In the Nepali Language, “Mana” meaning heart and “Kamana” meaning wishes hence, making Manakamana the ‘goddess of hearts wishes’.
