The 2 new mascots for the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles will be Holly and Woody, named for Hollywood, a Los Angeles neighborhood known for entertainment.

LA is bigger that LA proper, it’s made up of so many amazing places and cities. LA proper is a horrible place, but I won’t be attending those events. I’m going to Orange County and Inland Empire events. I feel some other country will drop the ball and LA will get a 4th games. The weather here is the best on earth, not a lot of places where you can surf and Snowboard in the same day!

Only a handfull of events in DTLA. I live by the Rose Bowl and plan to attend all games there (Soccer finals will be there)

LA is the most overrated city in the world since it's collection of towns and suburbs with poor public transport. But my parents live an hour or so away, so this could be the 1st Olympics I go to.

LA isn't an "embarrassment of riches" - it's just an embarrassment. This isn't a "no build" or "low impact" Games.
