Kathy is an incredible artist. I could listen to her sing all day long. She's the best, and it's a shame she can't get played on today's radio. She's making some of the best music of her long and distinguished career. LOVE this song. Her entire "Pretty Bird" CD is just terrific.

This song has the form of a Buddhist loving-kindness prayer also used in mindfulness meditation, called Metta Bhavana. And I also find it has a lot of spiritual power for me. Very interesting!
