The bearhawk is amazing. The interior is by far the best I have ever seen. This guy is one amazing builder.

I love the concept for this segment! Reminds me of grand designs on BBC, except for it's experimental aircraft instead of homes. 100% subscribed! Excited to see which builds come next

I thought you were going to talk about that website with all the crash reports Kathryn report. It would be interesting to know the background why that blog is on the internet.

You THOUGHT so... but we didn't :-) Actually we are fully aware of that website. And my FULL NAME is actually "Kathryn" as well. But we want to report on POSITIVE things in Aviation and not negative. So we ALMOST titled this segment "Kathryn's Report" but didn't want to totally confuse everyone seeing NEW Airplanes taking flight instead of NOT flying etc etc. This is the NEW REPORT! You'll not hear me complain about adding an attractive individual to the crew, no sir. And, worth noting I think, great job on the set.....simple, but very nice. My only quibble: while I liked the music, too loud over narrative. Takeaway? That's easy....you obviously put a lot of thought into this new segment and it shows. I know it will only get stronger in future vids, (and who wouldn't wish that all their aircraft builder/owner segments would feature as accomplished and camera comfortable a person as Rob). Nice job!

The Bearhawk reminds me of the Maule. It looks great and I will be interested in the rate of climb once the engine is broken in. I always considered the Maule Rocket as a STOL aircraft.

It does very much look like the Maule. Bryan's very first flight was in a Maule MX-7 he tells me. The Bearhawk I am told has a broader performance range. Thank You for saying HI! -Katie

Both airplanes are very nice builds. I remembered a Lockheed test pilot’s quote when I taxed onto the runway the first time, “I’m the only thing in this airplane that has flown before”.

From what we hear... this is allowed now. I wouldn't look at it as a passenger... they are the more "Experienced" pilot on board. Thanks for watching! -Katie

Yeah? We adjusted down VERY low and checked sound through out the entire video. Sorry it was overpowering for you? You must have an AMAZING sound system on your phone/computer/TV. :-) We will look into it for next episode! -Katie
