Thank you so much for this video. And I’m so glad finally someone suggested RESEARCHING the person they are interviewing. It’s so lazy when the guest is literally having to answer surface questions that the interviewer could have googled.

Thank you for this and your other videos! I get how to make sure video and audio is good on my end, but what about your remote guest? Do you send them an iPhone holder and decent mic ahead of time? Worried that if mine sounds awesome, theirs will sound terrible if not the same.

Do you happen to have an alternative recommendation? I tried Riverside but unfortunately the quality came out so bad and then I spent hours editing the video and it lost my work.. 3 times..

What if the guest has a lower quality video or audio.. and is Riverside free?

Can I double up the audio on my guest I'm interviewing if the audio is bad? So it sounds better..

Love your videos. Unfortunately on the end of past guests Riverside wasn’t good because the guest has to have space on their device. I had one who is definitely tech savvy, cleared all space on their device and we still couldn’t record. It was very frustrating. Someone else ran out of space almost an hour into our interview. I don’t think it’s guest friendly. Great if you’re doing a solo show. Also, the Riverside team was very kind. I wanted to stay with them, but this happened many times.

@@d.lhammond4971 I had it in 2022. I believe it was the Standard option, not the free one. Again, the customer service was great. I enjoyed the Facebook Group too. Unfortunately, I couldn’t figure out a way to resolve issues for my guests.

One thing you didn't discuss and rather important is what about the guest. They're not likely to have a good microphone. It would be nice to know this key factor. 😢
