6 ай бұрынIt is all too easy for a charge nurse to think “Hey, I only have 2 patients. All I have to worry about is admissions and discharges! Heck ya!” But a good charge nurse realizes the needs of their fellow nurses, steps up to help, encourages taking timely breaks, and helps their staff feel supported on top of their additional charge nurse duties.

I don't know where you work, but where I have worked, the charge nurse usually has the same amount of patients as everyone else but gets the benefit of extra responsibility.
