Katrina Leskanich, the lead singer of Katrina and the Waves, who catapulted the United Kingdom to Eurovision glory in 1997 with their uplifting track 'Love Shine a Light, joined Ken Bruce on Greatest Hits Radio. As anticipation builds for the 2024 Eurovision Grand Final, Katrina shared her view on the United Kingdom's chances in this year's competition.
Katrina also took us back to her Golden Year of 1985, including iconic songs from the legendary Kate Bush and reminiscing about the Second British Invasion that forever changed the music landscape, as well as sharing stories about spending time touring with Wham!, Chaka Khan and The Pointer Sisters!
