I've never heard this lady before, she's almost a perfect blend of both Morissette and Lea with maybe a healthy sprinkling of Christina Aguilera! one of her viral live performances is another DISNEY song, GO THE DISTANCE from the movie Hercules, performed on the Wish Bus. I'm sure you've already heard of the Wish Bus by now...if not, it's a mobile radio station where new and seasoned artists perform. they even have international artists over. there are 2 Wish Buses, one in the Philippines and one in the US, but Wish 107.5 is a Filipino radio station.

Marc- Katrina is a powerhouse. Her rendition of Reflection is one of my favourites ever. She has an amazing vibrato and it shows. She's done many songs and Go the Distance is definitely worth checking out. So many good songs under her belt. No going back now...

Katrina is worth a deep dive, as she has many gems from her younger years as well as her newer works which showcase some amazing growth and maturity. Give her Latin Medley a listen. Her duet with Jessica Villarubin, I Surrender, is vocal bliss. Katrina can hold a note 42 seconds, has a rich buttery low register and is a true master at riffs and runs. Wow, you nailed Katrina, she buys into the story every time. Funny you mention Christina, joke from multiple vocal coaches is Katrina does Christina better than Christina. Thing about Katrina is she has it all, queen of belting, riffs and runs, and anything else you want, but she picks and chooses what to use and when depending on the story she is telling. Without a doubt, you have to see I Surrender duet she does with Jessica, do the studio version and if you want, come back with the live version, both are great, but somewhat different. Some other must sees for you are, Never Enough and Latin Melody. Great reaction and I hope I see more Katrina because you highlight things about her that others don't. The vocal coaches blabber about her tremendous skill and technique, but few can talk about her like you do.

one of Katrina's talents is impersonation or voice impressions. check out her viral video called BURN IMPERSONATING SINGERS 3 video. it's just one of her impressions videos...there's another one made for her called 1 GIRL 29 VOICES but that one is a mix of local and international artists so hou may not appreciate it as much as the BURN video.

Thank you for loving this as much as I do. I have always thought it was one of the best covers I have ever seen in my life. It was just perfect and all the moments you love always stand out to me. The key changes, the way she sets up the emotions at the beginning with the falsetto, and that last long belt at the end. All flawless. The only difference is I would never have had a problem with her singing the first chorus in falsetto.

OMG Marc! When I watched you I became equally emotional. You have that effect. This was a well paced performance with a few modulations to higher keys which always adds an excitement and she obviously has the vocal range. My only criticism, which is minor in the overall performance, is in the beginning when she consistently added those vocal turns/adornments. I file a bit distracting and predictable. Heard it too often. That aside, what a brilliant performance. Just when we think she can’t possibly go any higher, she does. A warrior of a performance! Confident! Love your videos! Love them so much that I still hope to see one of you. Hope you don’t mind my constant requests.

Ohh boy you are barely scratching her complete vocal ability. Wait till you see her duplicating almost all the voices of the best divas around the world including whitney, celine, mariah, christina, even nickie minaj. She also has like 4 lungs as she has shown how she can belt and riff for almost a minute without breathing. She has fantastic vocal agility, breath support, vocal manipulation, vocal range, and even a tone like beyonce. I genuinely think she's the soprano version of beyonce, it's insane how similar they sound.
