Great reaction as per usual the "technician if technicians" Katrina Velarde. Super happy for you and your band being fully booked till into April 👏. Great going. Agreed that these MC songs are really not for your average singers. It can get messy. Even for the most seasoned of artists, but thankfully Katrina is one of the rare handful of artists that does Mariah's work justice. What a vocal gymnast. Think you must check out her rendition of a Philippino classic originally done by Regine, called "Araw Gabi" (new arrangement). It's in her native tongue, but it's wild. Even for Katrina. Don’t know if it would get blocked…but there is a Mariah/Katrina “dream” collaboration on “Hero” that is so sweet and lovely. Mariah cuts off a whole lot of notes, which drives me nuts, but it’s a later Mariah style.
