Dream Academy is a groundbreaking collaboration between HYBE Labels of Korea and Geffen Records of the USA, making Katseye the first global girl group under this prestigious project. This video aims to analyze the skills and journeys of each member that led them to be part of the group, highlighting their strong contributions to this highly anticipated debut. Viewers will gain insight into the talent and dedication of the members, as well as the unique aspects of this collaboration between two major music labels.
Please note that while the content released on KZfaq is limited as of late 2023, a full documentary is scheduled to be released on Netflix in the summer of 2024, providing a more in-depth look into the group's journey and achievements.

All these girls on the show had talent. Just because someone points out that other people had more skills and performed better than Manon doesn't mean they are attacking her. Samara was obviously better but because of those issues didn't get chosen. If you want to say she was the best of those left after Samara then that is one thing but Samara was easily better than Manon in all areas. It's not an attack, it's just a statement of the obvious. Congrats to Manon, she definitely will become a better artist

For me it was the anti fragile round where she caught my eye. In a group that had Sophia ,lara and emily, I found myself shocked that it was yoonchae that gave the best performance in that team

What surprises me about mission three is that Manon your vocals blend in so much that ppl thought it was sophia in the first line but I feel like Megan and Lara vocals fit well manon and Sophia fit well in a blend with each other and Daniella and yoonchae fit well so they definitely gonna work 😊

Nayoung is one of my top pick. But if you compare her to Yoonchae, Yoonchae is more suited to be in the group than Nayoung seeing the other possible members who will debut like Daniela, Sophia and Lara who had so much strong stage presence. I hope Nayoung will be an artist may it be a solo or in another group.

agree.. nayoung has the technicalities but everytime she performed in a group, sometimes she's not noticeable unlike Yoonchae who has a lot of presence but she still needs to improve in some aspects & it's still ok because she's so young too, there's much time to hone her skills

Good luck with that solo thing, she will need it. It’s tough being a solo artist in Korea unless you have some real recognition. If she leaves HYBE, it will be even more difficult to promote herself.

Def agree. Nayoung is the far better vocalist but as a performer, yoonchae is more natural and has better stage prescence ( despite being just 15) and fits better in a group

@@127mile I was disappointed when I found out too but she is still young and will learn. It happens when a person indoctrinated to believe certain narrative. Although I am not a Christian My country is Christian majority I grew up reading that Israel is God’s chosen people. But as I grew up learnt and realized it’s political and the whole thing is a colonial project. I hope people will open their minds and learn history.

Best lineup ever in Hybe and even in survival shows,one of my most anticipated debut in 2024 Each one has TALENT and amazing personalities,no one lacks at anything KATSEYE has probably made into one of my favourite groups list... When they first introduced & released their photos I like Karlee, Marquise and Manon. But after I saw/heard their pre DA videos, I became a fans of of Lara, Sophia, Nayoung , Samara & Brooklyn. (I prefer vocals than dance in gg.) After 1st mission my biases is Sophia, Samara, Lara, Nayoung, Emily & Megan. I was so worried we where going to get another R U Next and Ill it situation. Like that shit was embarrassing, but luckily they actually got their shit together and made a proper group, reflecting the judges and viewers opinions and the girls talents... I have high hopes for them, and if I remember correctly there will be released a documentary from their one year training to the actual competition, so that's going to be interesting to see.

Good music is the key. If your music is good, it pushes you to the top automatically. No one cares about how talented the members are if the music is good. Fifth Harmony and One Direction are prove of this. This explains why even after their disbandment, both groups were still far popular than group like Little Mix.

That is the only concerning part. I’m not sold on the American or world public ready to embrace a western gg…Vcha is doing well but they’re in a honeymoon stage right now. They’re also promoting in Korea as of now. Good music will certainly take you to the top and allow your group to be booked on shows to get more exposure like Kelly clarkson, GMA, Today Show, etc. and Billboards, VMAs, etc.

I think Manon and Daniela will be rotating centers. Manon for more mature but feminine concepts (as demonstrated in Fearless and Dirty Water), and Daniela for more fierce and dance heavy concepts (as demonstrated and Pink Venom in Girls Don't Like). The fact that they both have been center in multiple photos now cements it for me!

I don't know about most talented group... 😅 I agree with your sentiments here too 😂😅 Manon: i agree, purely visual and star quality. She doesn't have much vocal range and isn't an experienced dancer. Megan: top 4 dancer in DA, i didn't care for her vocals early on but she improved and is a fairly stable singer while dancing. I don't see her as the leader though. Daniela: top 4 dancer but has great vocals that always stood out to me, especially while performing. Yoonchae: even though she is the de facto Korean selection due to Nayoung's departure, I always thought she was one of the most well-rounded contestants. Lara: talented vocalist, decent dancer Sophia: she really stands out and seems like a natural leader. Definitely feel like she was a lock from the beginning.

You can literally look up any clips of the members singing on their social media without survival show editing and you will see that they are all actual singers who can out sing 90% of Kpop idols including your faves.
