I see almost every new movie that comes out in the theater. it’s was definitely one of the most unique films this year. concept was great, borrows from the greats of his genre in his own way, i just don’t get the fuss. the pacing of the film was exactly where it needed to be. watch jaws then watch the film again. it’s clear he knows what he’s doing and it’s black! in the next 5-10 that movie will be classic for horror/sci-fi. everyone’s just critical cause it’s jordan peele and we aren’t used to seeing black people in a movie like this. I saw nope 3 times and noticed something new every time, y’all 💤. maybe one day they’ll get it 🤷🏽♂️.
