Next time when you are flying in SriLankan, try self service check-in and self bag drop. It is faster than regular counters.

Katunayake Airport is a chaotic place. Other than the people just standing around for their goodbyes, the check in counters are poorly manned and they are not bothered to quicken the pace. Typical sri lanka don't care attitude. Non of those stupid Airport Authority big wigs care either to improve the circumstances. Terrible situation. One has to spend easily an hour ( or more)in the check in queues. They must at least increase the number of counters, specifically for Sri Lankan Air flights. Basic strategies. No wonder we cannot improve with a negative attitudes of those people behind the counters. Ask any of those passengers in the queue they will be cursing and frustrated at the delays created by our own AA ground staff. So sad for the genuine people of this country.
