Dear Ms. Perry... you may not see this note, but i wanted to say thank you. I had never heard this song before last night. A little girl sung it at the school's annual talent show. She sung very strong and very loud. She was so inspiring. Gabby won first place. I am convinced her world WILL hear her roar. I surely did. I can relate to this song on so many levels. This is my favorite song now! I used to be bullied, pushed around, submitted to everything my ex would want me to. I also started using alcohol and drugs and in the beginning of my 30s I started using methamphetamine daily. I got to a point of starting to use intravenously. At the late stages of my crippling methamphetamine addiction I would inject 1.5g at a time, breaking all medical records (0.2g is considered LETHAL intravenously). I went to rehab for 3 months and got kicked out for standing up for myself, my friend, and what was right! "Get ready 'cause I've had enough" is what I say every day to my addiction and the world! I am my own hero because I did this all by myself and essentially saved myself from myself and inevitable doom (if I kept using meth). I hope you all have a beautiful day and LIFE! One love

The song Roar is about exploring or fighting your way through the wilderness of the forest or jungle and to add what the song is about it's also about finding the inner strength in you and finding the inner beast in you. In the anime Kirby:Right Back At Ya Kirby and his friends Tiff, Tuff, Fololo, and Falala in some episodes have some chaotic adventures of the wilderness in forests and jungles of who or whatever they find or encounter. Anyone still in 2024? I still listen to this song and love it today, a song that lifts you up and forgets about your problems.
