Thanks for the reaction, guys. "Katyusha" is an affectionately pronounced female name. The song was created shortly before the outbreak of World War II. This is a letter from a girl to her lover, who serves as a border guard. During the war, it became truly popular. In China, it became very famous during the Civil War and is still very much loved. All Chinese know it, and many sing in Russian. Polina sang the last verse in Chinese.

hello guys, thanks for the reaction!)) Katyusha is a Russian female name (Katya, Katerina, Ekaterina), the song itself is very old and was written a long time ago. This song is known in China, both in Russian and in Chinese. And Polina performed the verse in Chinese very well. Thanks for the reaction. And yes, you did the movements from traditional Russian dances correctly, bеcause here (in the Soviet song of the war years) you can hear folk motifs - with the traditional slowing down, and then accelerating the rhythm.

This is famous Russian song Katusha (it is short for Katherine). It was written in 1939 and is about a woman (Katusha) waiting for her loved one to come back from the war. Something's wrong with this rendition. Katyusha is a folk song and it has more lively rhytam. Maybe this is a perfect opera voice, but i can't feel "Katyusha" this way. And i know it by heart. In original
