still called the "Katyusha". due to the fact that this is indeed the Bm-21 Grad, and that is the modded and better equipped BM-13 Katyusha Rocket truck. not many call it that but thats its code name from russia, not the usa.

Looks great as a technic built set though the launcher itself has been scaled down quite a bit for the sake of using the Lego styled firing bricks. That still is an impressively functional firing mechanism using probably the most spring loaded bricks I've seen in a single set. Also these militaristic technic builds are great to see on the channel, and a nice deviation from the more system brick orientated builds.

It’s a wonderful kit although that is not the Katyusha but the Grad the Katyusha a BM-8 has lower rocket suspension it’s front is more armored and the tires itself is noticeable

The spare wheel is wrong, on the Ural 4320 it is on the passenger side, and on the BM-21 it is in the middle.

actually the lego you are building is not a katyusha rocket but a grad rocket, the katyusha rocket is also known as BM-13, and Grad is called BM-21

@user unknown , this version is made and used by russians, Ukrainian army use this version of grad as captured vehicles because only russians make it, and Ukraine has its own wheelbases for soviet launchers that Ukraine makes, and only russia makes launchers on based on the russian zil, from this we know 100% that only russians had this version of grad at the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine, and it was from it that they fired at civilians from the very first day to this day
