Amazing edit. The Idemitsu Motion Mugen Civic is so iconic. My '92 Si was almost stock but the genius of the Civic platform was that it was a relatively cheap, practical daily driver that was quick and nimble and made trips to the grocery store a joy or could be tuned to compete on the track. Civic fans got a lot of flack from American muscle and Euro sports car drivers in but of all the cars I've ever owned and driven, nothing beat the Civic in terms of practicality, performance and pure fun!

Kanjozoku culture is one of the big influence that made me fell in love with the older gen Civics even more (especially the EK model and the EK9 Type R) besides the touring car and being a daily/track ready weapon due to its lightweight and reliability. Sure there are many fast cars out there and it's without a doubt, they are cool in their own ways but I've never been connected to any cars to this extent other than old gen Civics!! Ever since I was kid, EK9 Type R Spoon Sports is my dream car and hopefully I'll be able to own or build one someday!! Yeah sure, Civics like these gens aren't that fast in terms of power and doing straight line speeds but it's not always all about being fast or how much potential you could be able to put it in a car, it's more like how you're able to be connected with the car and how you are able to find yourself being happy and having fun with it regardless of what people might think at you (as long as you mod it properly even on a budget price and drive responsibly). I used to be a big power fanatic guy before but as I grew older, I realized that you could also be able to have fun with the car especially on its primal state regardless if it isn't fast as you might think. So yeah, that's all!! This car really captivated me!! It's really dear to me ya know and it'll be remain forever in my heart!!

even though I love my evo x and 5.7 hemi, I’ve always had a soft spot for the civics. Plus the civic community are by far the most passionate car guys I’ve ever met, so much respect for them.

The vehicle is a head turner indeed. My goal is to acquire a civic from the late 1990’s and have a K series motor installed with coilover suspension, upgraded brake package, and 15” wheels.
