This is my second year at Kawaii Kon! I’m so excited to be back! My goal was to match my numbers from last year, but it didn’t quite play out that way. In this vlog I document my expenses and revenue as they come up, so keep along to see how it plays out!

The 787 Max8 had me dying right away lol! Interesting how numbers play especially for repeat vendors. Would love to get to kawaii con next time. Love your vlogs!

ahahaha I'm glad someone caught that! and yeah, I'm in my second year of doing artist alleys, and so far, not a single repeated event has been the same for me 🤔

@@Sundrop.Studios i flew back home from a con and rode a 787 max8 and i was lowkey concerned for my life! LMAO. And idk if you've heard from your other artist friends but seems like the ones that vended there for the first time did very well, maybe because attendees are shopping more to new tables? that's just a hunch though.

@@Kikopaints_ ohhh yeah I would totally believe that, I have a couple of friends this year that did Kawaii for the first time this year and it started off really slow, but by the end of the weekend ended up being one of their top 3 cons!

HI HI~ I use my iPhone 15 Pro at 4k/30fps settings :> (but I also snagged a DJI pocket 3 to try out for next time! so excited to test it out)

@@thejuiceboxclub That should be the same brand, I believe! and having a second phone is nice as a back up camera, but I prefer recording at the best quality as possible, and footage just looks better off of the iPhone 15 imo

Amazing to see such a different perspective at events. Would you say the Pro spot is worth and did you do Pro last year too??

I did pro row both this year and last year- and I think it was worth it last year- I really enjoyed having the bigger space/table. but this year not all pro row spots were worth the pro row price... some of those spots were definitely not premium placement. I would probably go for it again next year. this year's pro row was also much larger than last year's.

Hi! I was wondering where you got the clamp display? I have been trying to find one and I can only ever find one with tripod feet. I would love to have one that makes transportation easier!

I got it from Amazon! My display is 2 sets of the "Just LS15 Desk Overhead Camera Mount". I would look into how many pieces you're going to need to build up and out and see how many kits you might need! This rig is more expensive, but they're really good quality so they don't bow in the middle when you hang stuff up, and I like the form factor!

It's from Amazon :) search up "jusmo LS15 Desk Overhead Camera Mount Rig Top-Down Shots" (They're on the pricier side, but the quality is good! I also have 2 of these kits so should always have enough pieces to build as tall and wide as I'd like)

I was also accepted into Wondercon but from the aftermath, I'm glad I decided to go back to Kawaii 😅 It's not the most lucrative, but it's a personal favorite!
