I just adjusted my Kawasaki FR730V intake and exhaust valves using your video as guidance. I have 770 hours showing on my hour meter and they have never been adjusted. It worked out just fine, and it seems to run much better. I adjusted both my intake and exhaust valves to .004" too. Upon my initial investigation before any adjustment, it appeared that most of my valves were at about .009, and there was one exhaust valve that hardly no clearance.

Works best when your keep your feelergage is between the valve and rocker arm. Good tutorial though 👍

My FR730V Repair Manual says between 0.0020” and 0.0039” for both the inlet and exhaust valve clearances. It says to use a 0.002” feeler gauge. Where did you find 0.004”-0.006” ? Is there a different source than the Kawasaki book?
