I remember bike magazine featuring a H2 in the 80s. Called the green meenie. Picture the above bike With no fairing. ON THE ROAD.... love em...

Johnny Guit Me 2 but they handled like shit,but we’re way better than the H-1. I think we that owned these triples back in the 70’s wear rose colored glasses when it comes to these bikes,power wise they were monsters but evil handling beasts in the twisted. They were designed for stoplight racing.

A-right, my older brother had a '72 H2 and came home with cash in his pocket every weekend from beating Z1's. P.S. Humpty, top end ain't the issue when your street racing, usually doing unofficial 1/4 layouts, line to line or light to light. Most of the time racing was done on the service roads to highways or expressways , industrial complexes... Shit I used to kick ass on my '88 ZX10, against ZX11 and Honda XX blackbirds. Just because I had more/better experience launching it. Boy those guys, who just dropped big money, on the 'lastest' bikes would be pissed. I thought it was hilarious!

So beautiful! Would like to build my own 750 H2R replica

AeroR wouldn’t it be a blast to put an H2 motor in say a 95’ 600 chassis?
@paulwainuskls28423 жыл бұрын
Put Kim tab snow flake mags on it. That would knock off about 30 lbs. That's what is on mine. And I have 3 sets if them. Very rare mags.

How did this bike do compare to 4 cyl race bikes!?

Looks a hell of a lot better with the wire wheels! I'd bet they're even lighter, too - hey?

How does starting up race bikes like that work?
@nullsig9 жыл бұрын
watch the video a few times you will figure it out, you see them start it.
@ericlarson637 жыл бұрын
The starter makes the rear wheel turn, the bike is put into gear, then the clutch is let out. The starter-machine is instead of push-starting it.

What kind of hp would a race H2 powered bike put out. I believe a stock one was 84 hp.
@classicbikeworld4 жыл бұрын
The stock H2 750 official Hp was 74 hp and the 1975 KR750 made around 125 hp so this 1973 H2 R was probably around 100 - 110 hp

That’s not a H2R motor, out side cylinders were shaved flat
@craigbrown49324 жыл бұрын
The cylinders are swapped from side to side so the motor would have more clearance with the chambers. The H2R that I owned in 1980 was another of Hurley's bikes build by Irv Kanemoto and had a "mag" rear wheel and plasma rotors.
