Much faster than my old CBR 250R... That thing topped out at 98mph down hill lol and about 91mph on flat roads and 80mph uphill. After 65mph there was not much left for confident passing.

This pulls absolutely well after 150. Good top end performance.

Ninja 300 Top Speed = 190km/h. Ninja 650 Top Speed = 200km/h.

I'm impressed any 300 that will top 100 MPH is pretty darn good. Although speedo error has to be factored in, generally speedos are optimistic from 8% to 15%. Factories do this for liability reasons. Tachs are generally low by 500 RPM to protect against stupid riders, and give a little buffer before rev limiter kicks in.

The 0-60 and 0-100 numbers are more interesting that the top speed that you shouldn't reach in normal conditions.

It is impossible not to realize that this guy was wearing a descent, this is evident when he 180km/ha the bike loses power and decreases 2km / h, the speed increases suddenly showing a further fall. For short videos like this not some youtube channels.

i got my 300 a month ago, i work at an airport, and the road to my job is long and empty, as airport roads usually are, and i tell you what, i love taking my ninja 300 up to 90-100mph on that road. having a motorcycle really puts speed into perspective. i could never ever see myself going 100mph before i owned a bike, in cars it just seems so shaky, but now it just seems like nothing.

I got my bone stock 300 to 110 today ON FLAT GROUND. It took forever but it got there, I'm sure if you added a full exhaust, tune, and re-gear this bike could easily see 115-120MPH. I'm 160LBS BTW

Fast enough for me. I don't need the speed of my old CBR 600 any more. This will do just fine.

I've had 2 250's one a 1990's era and one from 2003. Truly nice bikes and safer for someone of my age ability than the Kawai 500 that I sold for kid's tuition and the Honda 750 Interceptor that I sold so it would kill me. The 300 seems to answer anything that I thought of as a shortcoming in the 250's: fuel injection, a new slipper clutch, a top speed above 85 mph. If I live long enough to get one used, I want one of these

Hmmm... My ninja 300 has a hard time getting past 108mph. :/ I only weigh about 150lbs and I go full throttle in 6th gear for minutes at a time (you can see in some of my vids) but the bike kinda just stops pulling after about 103 and slowly climbs.

This past Sunday I got it to 108 and thought it probably could go a little faster, but I feel like I would need a helluva stretch to get it to 118. What sort of distance did you need to get it that fast?

I think it's real 170-175km/h. Not bad for a 300cc twin.

Have you changed the final driver gear ratio? If so, than it will show more if you put larger rear sprocket or smaller front one. I had a NC27 that ran 190+kph and that was a in-line four cylinder. EDIT: If the bike is stock, then it is very impressive.

I'm sure that my 300 would go 190km/h I have had it up to 170km/h and it's still pretty eager to go a bit quicker and that was on flat ground so I'm sure it possible and for my first road bike 10km/h short of 200km/h is a pretty awesome thing

I'm getting a 300 today and I just showed a buddy if mine this video. He can't believe it and keeps telling me to upgrade to a 600. I'm like bruh, even if this bike went 100mph wtf business do I have at those speeds anyway? I don't live in Germany. I have a led foot anyway so something slower would be ideal for me.

It's a good bike. But I have chosen KTM 390 Duke over this. It has a lower top speed, about 170km/h, but then again it goes faster all the way to 130-140km/h due to more torque and horsepower. After 130km/h the Ninja's aerodynamic advantages start to show. But top speed isn't really important to me. I feel like the riding position of the Duke is much more comfortable especially at city areas. It's also lighter so it should have better maneuverability. But after I move on from A2 license, I'm likely going to get a Z800 ;).

Pleasure. I still have an older 250 Ninja, but the new ones look excellent. If I didn't find my 600 for a bargain, I probably would've bought one!

Have you done any modifications to it? I attemted reaching top speed through a very long tunnel today but didnt get it higher that 168km/h... I probably weigh 90kg with full gear on tho, might be because I'm too heavy for the bike to reach higher speeds. 😅

Go down between one and 4 teeth on the rear sprocket, or add +1T on the front one for faster speeds. The engine is over it's HP curve by 1000RPM or more. You'll be able to go faster between 10-11k RPM, than at 13k RPM.

I get to 113/114 and stay there. If I super tuck behind the windscreen and contort my arms for aero dynamics, I have done 116 on several occasions. Still shooting for 117 lol

snope. The Ninja only shelved off 2 seconds from the older N250 which timed at 7.9 seconds and the N300 takes 6 second to get to 60mph

Attaining a speed in a vehicle while going down hill is NOT the top speed of that vehicle. The Ninja 300 tops out at 109/110. I have topped it out on a flat surface and it bounces back and forth between 109 and 110mph.

Not quite fair to compare a 2-stroke to a 4, but yes, that 150rr runs fast. 220km/h does not seem too accurate though. The effective top speed should be more in the 250R's range, so I'd say 170km/h or so if you measure it properly with a GPS.

I don't get it. Does this guy not realize the speedometer is not accurate at that range? Why would you do a top speed video without a GPS? That 191 could easily be 171, which it most likely is.

My ninja tops out at 155 now 🥲 I change the sprocket to a 46 tooth from 42 and now I wheelie in 1st and 2nd by just power wheeling but I got like no top speed
