That speed is scary when i was younger I did 120 mph top speed on my old 1987 cmx 450 cc honda rebel twin mikuni carburated i just had a carb job and some racing coils spark plugs and 93 octane fuel from the factory you just get 100 miles top speed in 6th gear on regular unleaded and factory carburators

Agreed, switching sprockets and racing ECU with High flow air induction system/filter, with a full exhaust system = a lot of fun. I believe a stock ninja 400 tops out under 200 KPH. It is also possible they switched out the transmission, or gearing at the least. (1st 70 KPH,) (2nd 104,) (3rd 131,) (4th 157,) (5th 176) (6th 192 KPH)

ECU flash and airbox mod to un restrict along with full system exhaust .. kicks fans on way quicker, turns off engine braking, raises the limiter to 13.5k or gets rid of it all together etc.. if you want quicker acceleration change sprockets to different teeth -1 in the front and +2/stock in the back but you’ll lose top speed and vice versa if you went +1f/-2b to get higher top speed but slower acceleration .. hope that helps

@@supernoob1894 I cant speak as to the legality of it in Europe but here in America it depends what state you’re actually in as some have higher emissions standards than others but tbh most of these mods are recommended for race applications but most street enthusiasts will do it regardless and get away with it 95% of the time … look into Moore Mafia videos for the ninja 400 he has in depth info on the tunes and Norton Motorsports might have some helpful info too because you can technically send it here and get it flashed but youll need some type of international ecu bench kit or something

I think it starts running good at that milage because out of the dealer it is impossible to reach that rpm, 6000rpm out the door and you got a good one, 8000rpm at 600 miles and so on.......

No kidding, for street riding, I started out on a ninja 400, loved that bike, redline at 6th was 135-140 MPH pushing it to 140. Stock should get 115-120 mph 200 kph stock. But without 6th gear idk what the actual top speed is of the bike in the video. But for a stage 2, that's sad XD The plastic says Ninja 400, I believe it's actually stock and the reason being, is so people will watch it expecting a modified ninja 400. Clickbait

@@sjrider1082 Question, why only a stock top speed on a stage 2? It's been a few years but all I really did to mine was Exhaust, Air Filter, clutch, and tuning at the Dyno. And I got 135-140 mph. 225 KPH. Your's top's out at stock speed's 195-200 kph or have you not yet tuned it and modified it with the stage 2? Also noticed 5th ends at 194 when the video does. Not releasing full content will have your viewers really questioning you. Part 2?
