Well that's one way to do it lol. At least you got it working. The one key system is definitely nice, and it is easy. However, the Kawasaki site and place say dealer install part and I think it scares people away as they don't realize how easy it is to set these up

Its for the 2021 Versys 650 top case, i have the exact same parts and coloured bags, and an extra black small thingy (all unassembled) with it which the previous owner gave to me aswell. Im not sure if thats extra and perhaps part of the problem or its something else

@@BlueEyedRider84you’re amazing and i hope i can learn alot from your videos. Well all goes well until i get to tje part where i need to fit the little pieces in the cylinder. I put in the spring and little piece as instructed and push it in the cylinder with the hook side on the spring, and when i put in my key it wont slide in to fit well. Ive done this with all 4 colours multiple times and they just dont fit

Remember WD-40 is a horrible lubricant. It's a great cleaner and works for very short term but it breaks down very quick. However the grease also helps with actually getting the keyways out. You may find it difficult without a grease.

@@BlueEyedRider84 I ended up doing it without any grease or WD-40 mines weren't that hard to get out I pushed them out from underneath like you said and it came out pretty easily, but I didn't take the top box apart to put it inside the top box I just took a screwdriver a small one to help push that other piece up so I can push it in, and it slid right into the hole if you know what I mean. Today was the first day I used it had two half gallons of milk in there LOL I'm still waiting on the green attachment that goes to the top because when I ordered it at the bike shop the guy thought the top box would come with it and so did I we were so wrong that was like another $120 something bucks to get that green plastic piece, what angers me is in some other countries all of that stuff comes with the bike they have a SE tour that comes with the bike that's not available in the states you have to buy everything individually. I want the fog lights but they want $600 just to get the fog lights I may end up getting aftermarket but I don't want to go aftermarket unless I really need to.

@@rival989 yes, it was very expensive and I didn't care for adding on all the extra pieces as well. I do like it tho. Glad you got it all figured out!

What about bar end mirrors lol

Sorry for the delayed response. Bar end mirrors are another item that aren't really for me. They require taking eyes off of the road to get a look and they move with the handle bars so don't always point where needed unless going straight. Spending the money to make a video for installing the mirrors just doesn't make sense. I am motorcycle poor, as most riders are, so need to direct the money flow to things I'll use. Now if a company sends me a set or whatever, I'd be more than happy to make an install video even if I don't keep them on. Installation should be quite simple though. There are a few styles. Some clamp on the bar weights, and just needs a small socket or screw driver to tighten the clamp. Some set inside the bar weights, so you just have to remove the weights, install the mirrors and clamp down, apply fresh loctite to the weight bolt threads and reinstall the weights/bolts. The other style I have seen actually replace the bar weights, but if you get those make sure to get at least the weight of the stock bar weights or you will get vibrations in your bars. To install these, you simply remove your existing bar weights and replace with the bar end mirrors/weights and replace the bolts (make sure to apply fresh loctite) Again - sorry this isn't on the agenda - everyone has their preference on things such as levers and mirrors, but again - if a company sends me a set I will surely make a video.
