In this video I describe how to fitted new tank badges and petrol cap to a freshly painted tank. Re drill the Z900A4 side panels to accept Z1B badges, all quite simple tasks really, but are critical to get right with freshly painted parts.

First thing I noticed and I don't know if that's what you were going for but at a casual glance it's not obvious it's a 6. At the right angle even with 6 pipes its very subtle. I love it because of that. No massive billet gubbins all over just what you'd expect it to be from kawasaki. Hats off again to you for your exquisite work mate.

There are so many restored Z1s/Z900s on the Vintage Japanese motorcycle scene now to be seen on display at shows, they have been featured to death in classic motorcycle magazines, and theres hundreds to view online, but as nice as they are I personally never give them a second glance now because theres just so many of them but Allens latest work of art just trounces them all. This bike is just from another planet, and that tone of blue paintwork which was used on some other mid 70s Kawasakis but not on the 900s (i stand to be corrected) is the icing on the cake. One question i would ask Allen is that you seem to have fabricated the exhaust system from the standard 900 system so would those four silencers with six pots worth gasses going through them not be restricting the bikes breathing a bit? A six into six system on this bike....now that would have been something to behold!
