That Kawasaki Z1000 is such an awesome bike. I really like that grey and blue colour combo. Nice sounding pipe, but not quite the look I like for a pipe. Btw, as much as I do like the looks of the z900 I prefer in this order z800, z1000 and z900 last. The z900 certainly isn't a bad looking bike, but I think it's less appealing than the z800 and z1000. They were more chiseled and aggressive looking and the z900 was tamed down a bit.

I don't mind the stock exhaust on my Ninja 1000, except that it's harder to do the chain maintenance the way I want. I don't want to wake the neighborhood, but this is a great value slip on in my opinion.

This may sound stupid but i dont want to waste my money on a starter bike and just get a Z1000. What if i go really slow and gradually build up my skill on a litre bike?

do you need to do engine remap with those pipes? I have z1000sx and changed headers to Akrapovic one and pipes to sp engineering (UK brand) and after 2 months I had engine warning light constantly on. changed to Akrapovic S-K10SO19-HZC, problem gone but they are so quiet

Hey Cobb, do you use the fuel from the Shell across the road? I just got a 2020 z1000 and the dealer told me not to use shell fuel, only BP or Caltex.
