Bro it has to be because slicks arent Department of transportation approved. Theres a couple that are but they get away with it by adding in a couple grooves for water to excape but theyre atill pretty sketchy bro you dont want to be using them on the roads unless you gotta because theyre barely dot approved. Its like DOT knobbies for dual sports. Yeah theyre road legal but they suck balls unless youre in the dirt so just because you wont get a ticket using them on tbe road doesnt mean its a gokd road tire. This tire however is totally road illegal im pretty sure because DOT requires tred for water to excape in order to help prevent hydroplaning
