Kawasaki Z900 is a super bike available at a starting price of Rs. 8,84,048 in India. It is available in only 1 variant and 2 colours. The Kawasaki Z900 is powered by 948cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 123.64 bhp and a torque of 98.6 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, Kawasaki Z900 comes up with anti-locking braking system. This Z900 bike weighs 212 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters.
Kawasaki has announced the launch of the 2022 Z900 in the Indian market. The motorcycle is available in a single variant and one colour option - Metallic Spark Black. The changes are limited to the paint scheme of the motorcycle. The rest of the features, styling cues, and specifications remain identical to the previous version of the naked roadster.
The Japanese naked roadster benefits from Kawasaki's Sugomi styling with a hunched down stance. The design comprises a low-slung headlamp, muscular fuel tank, and a raked tail section. The motorcycle packs in features such as full-LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch colour TFT display.
The mechanical specifications remain unaltered, and the 2022 Kawasaki Z900 retains a BS6-compliant 948cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 123.6bhp of maximum power at 9,500rpm and 98.6Nm of peak torque at 7,700rpm. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The electronic rider aids include traction control system, two power modes, and four riding modes. The motorcycle is built around a steel trellis frame and it rides on 17-inch alloy wheels at both ends. The wheels are wrapped in Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
The 2022 Kawasaki Z900 also benefits from the company’s K-Care package. This package brings an extended warranty and annual maintenance contract for four years to the naked roadster. All previous model year models are not included in K-Care.
