Thanks, I appreciate that 👍 Carbs are temperamental on the H2 as well.. ethanol in todays fuel doesn't help. You're right about parts..& if you do find what you're after, it comes with the 'classic bike/ZXR' tax! Absolutely my friend.. New bikes just leave me a bit cold. They don't have the looks & awesome paint schemes of 90's bikes! I appreciate 200bhp is incredible, but 105bhp of this ZXR is enough for me.. it can still boogie when it wants to! 😁👍 Cheers for the comment 🙌

The carbs were cleaned & rebuilt twice as it still didn’t run well after the first rebuild. The timing chain tensioner was installed incorrectly and had jumped a tooth, luckily no damage, so a new tensioner was fitted. The valve clearances were checked and a couple were out slightly. The wrong spark plugs had been fitted, they were for a Fireblade! So the correct plugs were refitted. New cam cover gaskets, service and mot. All in was £1400, which was what I expected.
