Excited to get my Dark Olive! I’m slowly building my green pen collection and I love the range of green-hued pens Kaweco has released so far. I have the frosted green and sage green (Milligram) at home, and I’m looking forward to comparing it with the Dark Olive!

Green is a great theme for a fountain pen collection. Unfortunately I missed the Miligram Sage Green!

I’m waiting for my Dark Olive pen to arrive. So, this review was very welcome indeed. But it also makes me impatient to finally get mine. I now also wish I had the green Kaweco Ranger that you showed as the closest one in color to the olive pen. It looks great and just different. The Tibaldi is excellent; it resembles the Sheaffer Balance design a lot. But your pen is very attractive on its own. I already have the dark green Classic Sport. I use the Kaweco Palm Green ink in that one. I liked quite a few of the other compared colors here on the other pens. But that lavender one is very nice. I shouldn’t have missed buying that one. Very happy to see this review.

Thank you for watching and for your comment. Sorry for replying too late. But I try to reply to all comments. Unfortunately, most of the times I have to choose between using my time to reply to comments or to make new videos. The Ranger is almost impossible to find and it was part of a collection of three: Ranger, Trekking, Yacht. I think I will get one of those soon! 🥳 Tibaldi looks nice and it is nice. Now that I own a Balance II I would say I prefer the TIbaldi to the Sheaffer. About the Lavender... It is widely available. Maybe you even got one by this moment.

@@OdE-ObjectosdeEscrita …I always comment here. I cannot help it. 😀 But no worries, I know how you try to always reply to all commenters. It isn’t easy to do that. And you need not feel obliged to do so all the time. I once told you that your replies are greatly appreciated. And that I honestly don’t mind if you reply very late or not at all. I totally understand the decisions regarding time and priorities. I would rather have you make more great videos with your limited time and reply less if that helps.. Lol.. I will get that lavender Kaweco Sport, for sure. And I didn’t even know about Tibaldi before I saw you show yours. I’m seeing a few of your older videos that I may have missed before I had subscribed. I saw, enjoyed and commented on some of your Montegrappa videos. Because I want another Fortuna again.

I really like the approach to these special editions of Kaweco… Like for example: Lamy: charges like 3 times of what the 2000 usually goes for and makes it so limited that many are left disappointed… I got the Blue Bauhaus, but I am not getting the new brown one. Just, no. Kaweco: makes a widely available special edition, that is available for some time and pretty much everyone that wanted one was able to get it… and uh, sorry we have to charge 1 € more. Yeah, 1 € more for a different color from a special edition? I am more than happy to pay that tiny extra! :) Ups, there was misprint… yup, I will take both. A color that comes out that is a 6,5/10 for MY taste, yup, I will still get it. Super collectable, fair priced and cute pens! :) You can’t compare it fully, but I like Kawecos approach much more. :)

You are right. I like the way they are doing this. However I think a Kaweco Sport is more comparable with a Lamy Safari or Al Star than the 2000. But yes, I like the way Kaweco is doing this and I even liked the misprint on the cap on the Lavander.

You showed at the beginning an F nib, but you wrote in the test that you are using an M nib.

Yes. I got two of these and used the F for showing you the overall features of the pen and used the M one for writing. Because I always show the pen first (this and pens from other brands) sometimes the nibs dry a little because they are uncapped for a while. So, I showed a F without ink and a M with ink for the writing sample. I explain that in the video at 04:03
