OMG! That's talent! Kay Thompson is fabulous. I am amazed that the male voices are matching her in exact places throughout the musical number. Bravo!

WOW! THAT, ladies and gents, was Miss Kay Thompson! Thanks so much for posting this thrilling video clip. It seems that her performing career was sadly under-recorded, and we have so few examples that show her really tearing it up--as she does here! It boggles my mind that she isn't held in higher esteem, when those "all-time greatest..." lists are tallied. Singer, dancer, composer, brilliant wit...she was world-class at so many things. I think maybe that's why she isn't as well-known today as she should be. She can't be categorized as one thing or another...because she was great at EVERYTHING! Thanks again...if you have any other Kay clips, I, for one, would be most grateful if you shared!

This might be my favorite Kay Thompson clip to surface thus far. Do you have any information about it?? What year? What show?? On the Think Pink CD collection there is an audio of Kay rehearsing this version of Violins. Very cool to see what it turned out to look like!! Thanks
