Bro if you're ever in Central Florida I know a lake that can only be fished by yak or canoe and when I went there a legit 13 pounder swam beneath the canoe in crystal clear water. Biggest bass I've ever seen BY FAR. I always planned on going back but the outriggers on the canoe go too slow in the grass.

I love finding new spots to fish and exploring. Google maps is my best friend. But I will say this having a place that you know you will always catch something is great for teaching kids or new angler's

Ah, love that you are in a Sportsman Minn Kota version. Whew, got off the bus to grab a Peacock. Cool Beans. Looks like you got a long haul to get to your truck. I'm worrying about that. I'm old and wore out so hoping to find some easy access that is still decent. Kayak won't be here till Feb... lol Sportsman 106 Minn Kota. That was a great looking lake. Good series... Thnaks for the content.

Just came back to do a retro-look at some of your vids. Your combo reviews, along with Noah's and Norm's, have been monumental in my choices of combs I've purchased. Just got my first kayak yesterday for my birthday and took it to a new pond today and used the lures and technics and caught my PB of the year and of my life, with a all day white spinner bait with a fluke trailer from Zoom. 13.64 lb.s

Hey, Maybe some tips about the Yak you're using... Bunch of us have Yaks coming and I'm betting a lot of people bought the Sportsman series. Old town is pumping out thousands of them each month and are almost 4 months in the sqitter.

Yes, do more... and thanks for letting us know you got skunked the first day.... I've been skunked the last 2 times I've been out both times saltwater beach fishing. Not even a nibble. not a strike nada zip. and btw, thanks for being relatively quiet while you are fishing in peoples back yards. I think that is so important to be respectful of the people who live there. Tired of seeing young fisherman arguing with home owners about who owns what. I really enjoyed this video because for the first time I don't feel like I'm the only one having bad days in SWFL. Thanks Much appreciated.

I definitely love to find new spots. Early this spring my fishing partner and I found a Quarry and I got my PB out of it this year. 7.92lb bass. Golf Courses are not fun to me. Just because you pretty much have to know someone to be able to fish their ponds. Or you sneak and get kicked off.

@yakpak what do you prefer to fish with a bait caster or a spin reel ? I fish with a spin reel but I'm looking to get a bait caster got any suggestions on what I should look for when buying one? Such as what brand what type of line and test i should use what do I suggest?
